I've passed this area of sunset so many times but have never seen or heard of this place! I found it on social media recently though and am so glad I did. I got the grilled pork and crunch combo banh mis. I loved the affordable prices of both!! The wait was only maybe 10 minutes so it was super quick to grab and go. My favorite was the grilled pork banh mi, I loved the flavor and char of the meat! They did not skimp on the meat for either sandwich and the proportions were pretty good for all ingredients, although they maybe could've used a bit more pickled veggies. The crunch combo was good as well, but I don't think I'm that big of a pate girl, so I would get the grilled pork again next time!! The bread was the best part, it wasn't hard or thick as baguette typically can be. It was actually so fluffy and just perfect to bite into. Will definitely be back!!

Delicious banh mi's with plenty of filling and solid choices. I went with the crunch combo and thought it was flavorful and fresh. The price is good, and the sandwich held up well when I ate the second half the next day. Service was speedy and friendly. I recommend picking one up and enjoying it in a nearby park, as the restaurant itself is a bit small.

Yummy banh mis can be picked up and enjoyed at Golden Gate Park! They have all your standard flavors and if you get six sandwiches get one free if ordered at the same time. We will be back!

I came here to grab some food for a picnic in Golden Gate Park. The interior is what you'd expect from a basic sandwich spot, with countertop seating and cups for water. I ordered the Crunch Combo and the Lemongrass Beef banh mi. They have a promotion where if you buy five banh mi, you get a free Grilled Pork banh mi. It costs $2 to add pate, and I was tempted to do it for my beef sandwich, but with that price, I decided not to. It took about 10-15 minutes to get my order, which seemed reasonable given they had a good mix of in-person and online orders coming in. Both sandwiches had the usual banh mi toppings--pickled radish and carrots, cucumber, a generous amount of mayo (more than most places, but not overdone), and a nice crunchy bread crust. They were a good size to finish on your own. Crunch Combo (4.5/5): had a good amount of pate, more than other places I've tried, with actual chunks of it. It made the sandwich a bit saltier than usual, but it really enhanced the flavor. There was also a solid portion of sliced meats inside. Lemongrass Beef (4/5): had a decent amount of meat, but it wasn't as strongly flavored as I expected. Still, it was a good option if you prefer a less salty sandwich. Overall, I think this is a great spot for banh mi! I'm not sure if it's the best I've had, but it's definitely in my top 3. We even considered buying more to bring home after our picnic!

The Inner Sunset in San Francisco has lots of good places to drink and eat. There are a diverse range of places which some are legacy places and then there are some new pop up restaurants that appear year after year. There are a few places of value in San Francisco for a good meal and Banh Mi Crunch fits the bill. Banh Mi Crunch is one of my favorite newer places that sells good Banh Mi . There is always people waiting in line the times I been here ordering different types of Banh Mi. I usually order the Combo Banh Mi. They put lots of meats and not too much veggies which is the way I like my Banh Mi. The bread is soft and not flaky with a bit of a crunch. I would say my favorite dish on the menu is the Vietnamese pork chop with garlic noodles . I had to get my plate customized since it comes with rice but I added the garlic noodles with the pork chop . I like their pork chop because it was tender and well seasoned with lots of tasty flavors especially dipped in the Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese Dipping Sauce). The garlic noodles adds an extra delicious burst of garlicky flavor and complements the entire dish. Banh Mi Crunch offers lots of different types of Banh Mi , BBQ rice plates that they are serving Get their garlic noodles and pork chop plate between 7th & 8th avenues and Irving

Banh Mi Crunch offers the perfect picnic food for you to take to Golden Gate Park steps away. Affordable, portable, and tasty eats. I've been spoiled by some great banh mi in south bay so I came in with high expectations and walked away feeling okay about my experience. The filling to bread ratio is off, in that there is far too much bread to non-bread ingredients, at least in the crunch combo. This made my meal feel very dry and I recommend grabbing some water to wash down every bite. It's a small operation so there's a wait time both to place your order and to get your food. There are a few stools inside but this is mainly a to-go setting. I may come back next time I'm in the area and looking for something to dine on in GGP but wouldn't go out of my way. The people manning the shop were very friendly and this is a great small business to support!
